Ubisoft NEXT Finalist

Entry for 2019's Ubisoft NEXT that was 1 of 5 finalists of about 230 entries (across all disciplines) to the challenge.

There were many challenges throughout the process such as scoping/planning, prioritizing assets and learning EEVEE, just to name a few. I would say the biggest challenge was reaching the desired atmosphere I wanted. This tied in heavily with lighting and how I went about it. It took alot of tweaking, revisions, and going back to make the smallest changes to my lighting setup. I also experimented heavily with EEVEE's camera effects which gave the atmosphere a layer of polish. Some of the main effects I used were bloom, fog, AO, and some minimal color balancing. Modeling/texturing workflow was more or less standard. It was just wrapping up and putting everything together that was the hardest part.
